| JBL MP215 Two-Way Speaker System |

JBL Professional, renowned maker of loudspeakers and sound reinforcement systems, recently unveiled its new line of performance loudspeakers called the MPro Series. These speakers are considered ideal for live sound, DJs, rental sound providers, clubs, and houses of worship.
Take the MP215 two-way loudspeaker for instance—a compact yet powerful 15-inch speaker system enclosed in a trapezoidal plywood cabinet, and wrapped up with a rugged carpet finish. The MP215 is apt as a full range front-of-house speaker. Apart from being compact, it is extremely portable. The speaker also contains a receptacle for pole mounting over a subwoofer like MPro MP255S.In addition, the speaker system boasts of a newly engineered JBL M115-8A 380 mm (15-inch) low-frequency driver that includes an edgewound voice coil for enhanced power handling capability and maximum output. The MP215 is fueled by a 25 mm (one-inch) compression driver from JBL, which has a titanium diaphragm. This diaphragm is mounted to a horn, which, in turn, is integrated to the SMC Laminar-Flow Baffle element. This single-piece element integrates four items: horn, baffle, ports, and woofer mounting. To minimize turbulence and diffraction effects that cause distortion, JBL renders smooth and rounded contours of the baffle and a coherent single-piece structure. The MP215 also includes a dark gray carpeted enclosure made of 18 mm plywood employing tongue-and-groove construction for more strength and higher longevity. The beauty of MP215 lies in its trapezoidal shape that permits different cabinets to be placed at splayed angles for extended coverage. Heavy duty steel handles are conveniently positioned for ease of use, which is complemented by a 16 gauge steel grill to safeguard the speaker components and the baffle. The MP215's internal passive crossover offers optimal power response and better performance particularly in the critical mid-range region. JBL's trademarked SonicGuard circuit protection ensures safety of the high frequency driver from excess power, without disrupting its performance or modifying the sound. To provide input flexibility, Neutrik Speakon NL-4 and standard 6.3mm (1/4-inch) connectors have been compounded. Key Features:
