JBL Professional, a brand name that's known far and wide. While studio engineers rant and rave about their prized possession, affordability comes in the way of many music enthusiasts who want to have their own JBL. Playing into public sentiments, JBL recently unveiled its TR Series replete with cool features for a fraction of the price that other speakers with the same utilities offer.
The TR Series has four different models – three loudspeakers and a stage/monitor. The famed TR125 is a front-loaded two-way loudspeaker that wows the audience with live sound reinforcement and unbelievable acoustic characteristics hitherto unthinkable in a loudspeaker in its class. Six decades of research and development, and experiences gained from music concerts and live performances fuelled the conceptualization and design of TR125, making the loudspeaker an unbeatable choice for dead-on audio.Designed to excel at a frequency range of 55 Hz to 16 kHz, TR125 packs in a lot of punch with a state-of-the-art 15-inch low frequency transducer. Add to this the JBL patented diamond surround with liquid-cooled high frequency compression drive, and you have the perfect recipe for creating a mix with stunning clarity. Another finding straight out of JBL's concert tours is the Optimized Aperture horn that is used in the TR Series to achieve even sound at all points in the listening plane. The bigger, better voice coil in the woofer ensures superior power handling capabilities and delivers more sound per watt. At such affordable prices, you will not generally expect loudspeakers to come with an in-built protection. However, JBL extends its SonicGuard protection without intruding into the frequency attenuation in the crossover. The crossover network is orchestrated to insure balanced sound amid rough handling and physical abuse. It is indeed difficult to believe going by the price alone that the TR Series is a JBL loudspeaker. If you don't trust your eyes, use your ears; take home a TR125. Key Features:
