Another finding straight out of JBL's concert tours is the Optimized Aperture horn that is used in the TR Series to achieve even sound at all points in the listening plane. The bigger, better voice coil in the woofer ensures superior power handling capabilities and delivers more sound per watt.

At such affordable prices, you will not generally expect loudspeakers to come with an in-built protection. However, JBL extends its SonicGuard protection without intruding into the frequency attenuation in the crossover. The crossover network is orchestrated to insure balanced sound amid rough handling and physical abuse.

It is indeed difficult to believe going by the price alone that the TR Series is a JBL loudspeaker. If you don't trust your eyes, use your ears; take home a TR125.
