JBL MP415 Two-Way Speaker System Print
MP415 is part of the popular MPro Series of JBL speakers. Designed especially for mobile applications, it is common to place these speakers directly on the floor, stage, or platform. The speakers can even be mounted on a tripod stand. For installing the speakers on a tripod stand, a 35mm receptacle cup is provided.

JBL MP415 Two-Way Speaker SystemThe MP415 is a portable, two-way speaker system with bass-reflex, created for use with a stage monitor or the main speaker. Multi-angle enclosure makes it suitable for FOH (front of house) applications.

To minimize the effects of turbulence, which in turn causes audio distortion and diffraction, JBL MP415 uses specially designed Laminar Flow Baffle. A sheet molding compound is used in the construction of baffle material. An integral horn and ports further boosts the system performance. The large mouth of the horn and its unique design combine well with a precision engineered crossover, resulting in better power response and perfect reproduction of sound at mid-range listening position. An unbeatable combination of superlative motor power and low moving mass empowers the annular ring diaphragm (ARD) compression driver for extending high frequencies even more.

Used as a satellite speaker with the right sub-woofers, high frequency extension, and portability, the MP415 is an ideal choice for high octane music playback and live shows in diverse settings. The woofer is caged in a 16-gauge steel grill, protecting the low frequency driver from abrasion. JBL highly recommends a coupled speaker system consisting of the MP415 and one of the two JBL subs – MP418S and MP418SP.

To minimize harmonic distortion and enhance power response, the JBL employs state-of-the-art SHG technology (Selective Harmonic Geometry). The wonder box comes with a high power rating. Power handle peaks at 1,400 Watts of pink noise, while at all times the speaker has an average power capacity of 300 Watts.

Insured with the highly reliable SonicGuard protection, the MP415 continues to deliver performances of impeccable quality for years to come.
