Basking on the tremendous success of LSR4312SP Subwoofer, JBL Professional has unveiled its worthy successor - the LSR6312SP. This powered studio subwoofer supports multiple surround formats, including Dolby Prologic, AC-3, and DTS. Designed for stereo and multi-channel applications, the LSR6312SP provide enhanced capabilities for sophisticated bass management and for extending low frequency.
The 6300 Series Sub scores over a standard subwoofer through its inherent ability to produce exceptional spectral accuracy and high sound pressure level (SPL). A typical Sub delivers SPL at the cost of smooth response, whereas the LSR6312SP superbly balances SPL and response, and elevates SPL capacity in acoustically treated studio room to produce a mind-blowing effect. JBL's Room Mode Correction system plays a significant role in creating accurate mixes in demanding workspace. The METAlliance certified Sub has a 252F LF transducer at its core, which is powered by two voice coils and a powerful neodymium magnet. A third coil located between the two drive coils acts as a dynamic brake to limit excess excursion and reduce audible distortion at peak operating levels. A 260-watt continuous power amplifier is integrated into the LSR6312SP system, which provides correct drive levels for optimized frequency response. Hi-quality materials that boost audio quality are used in housing materials and cones. The cone is made of a carbon fiber polypropylene composite forming a rigid piston area supported by a soft butyl rubber surround. Using the patented 2-inch Differential Drive® technology and Linear Dynamics Aperture port design to minimize port turbulence, the power compression is reduced to zilch. The smooth dark graphite finish achieved on medium density fiberboard lends both aesthetic appeal and acoustic finesse. Key Features:
